​Spirit of '45 celebration​


WHAT:            Spirit of '45 Day celebration - The event will feature a Color Guard presentation,  a 21-gun salute, recognition of the World War II veterans who reside at Nature Trail Health Care Center, special guest speakers, and food. The public is encouraged to attend the ceremony.

Nature Trail Health Care Center is a Veteran Administration Certified Nursing Home.    

WHY:              The World War II generation has often been referred to as the "Greatest Generation" for their example of national unity, cooperation, service, and selflessness during an extremely challenging time in our nation's history. To honor this generation, Nature Trail Health Care Center, in partnership with SSM Health at Home, will celebrate the 71st anniversary of the end of World War II with a ceremony to observe Spirit of '45 Day, a special day honoring those who served in World War II, both in uniform and on the home front.
