Jim and Gwen Randall are very pleased with Good Samaritan Regional Health Center’s quality, technology and health care staff. “We are fortunate to have Good Samaritan in Southern Illinois,” says Jim Randall. To show their appreciation, the Randalls have made a donation to Good Samaritan Regional Health Center Foundation. In fact, the Randalls are the 1st donors to support the hospital’s Endoscopy and Gastroenterological equipment. “We have always received excellent care at Good Samaritan, and are very grateful,” says Gwen Randall.
The Procedure Center at Good Samaritan offers convenient and accessible care for outpatient needs. The Center is located immediately inside the Patient Entrance at Good Samaritan. This “one-stop” area is the place to go for most outpatient services and houses the Endoscopy and Gastroenterology Suite. “We are living in the age of amazing technological advances,” says Dawn Collier, RN, Director of Procedure Center at Good Samaritan. “Pictures and images are advancing, which means clearer visualization leading to earlier detection and diagnosis, more efficient treatment and better outcomes with improved life expectancy”.
Collier also notes staying abreast of updating technology means even more conditions may be treated without surgery and more patients can be treated locally. Good Samaritan has been a vital part of caring for the community for decades. “Our goal is to ensure that we continue to provide the highest quality health care and bring healing to our community”.
The Randall family is proud to support the high quality services provided at Good Samaritan and particularly those services provided in the Endoscopy and Gastroenterology Suite in the Procedure Center. Learn more about the Good Samaritan Foundation or giving opportunities.
