Infant Feeding & Car Seat Safety Classes

This class covers how to feed your baby, both bottle and breast feeding. In this class you will learn infant feeding cues, how often to feed your baby, how to tell if your baby is getting enough to eat or too much to eat, how to prepare bottles and how to store breast milk. This class is also a wonderful opportunity to ask questions about feeding your baby and discussing your infant feeding options. This class is recommend for all new mothers and mothers that have questions about infant feeding options.

Car Seat Safety - Learning how to use the new car seat is often the last step in preparing for the arrival of a new baby. In the chaos and excitement before the baby is born, this isn't always done well or at all. Car seats often come with lengthy instructions that parents may not read or fully understand, causing many car seats to be used incorrectly. We provide expectant and new parents with an opportunity to focus on the proper use of car seats to keep their children safe. Information on the purchase of a car seat at a discounted rate will be available.

There is no charge for this class, but registration is required. This class is available at Good Samaritan Hospital - Mt. Vernon.

Sibling Classes

This class is for parents and their children to prepare siblings for the arrival of a newborn.
